Walk up at Chef Mickey

depends on what time of year you're there, and what time you're thinking about walking up. We've been there when people were getting walk-ups, but most of the time there's so many people waiting you think there's a convention going on in the waiting area or something.

We were there for an early breakfast ADR (7.30 a.m.) in Jan 2009...the place was mostly empty and they were taking some walk ups. However, 45 minutes later when we left around 8:15 or so, there was 100 people waiting to be seated. And that was during the SLOWEST time of the year (Magic Kingdom, at 10 in the morning...Fantasyland had no lines at any of the rides. NONE. Not even at Dumbo or Peter Pan.)

I don't want to say what your chances might be because it depends on the date, number of people in your party and the time of year you are at WDW. The only thing I will say is if you try to go as a walk-in be in line before they open because I read that might help, plus if you don't ask you won't know. However I would also say to try and get an ADR just incase and keep trying online until you leave for WDW.

IDK..CM is one of the most popular character meals outside of the parks.. I say pretty slim..Why dont you continue to try online and even when you arrive ask front desk to keep trying and if that dont work then maybe call disney dining the morning of unless your staying at CR, ID hate for you to take a child down there and get turned away..

My Brother and SIL (and three kids under 5) were able to do a walkup for dinner in May. They waited about 30 hour (were told 45 minutes).
