Walk to DTD from Saratoga Springs Resort??

Is it even possible to walk from Saratoga Springs Resort, over to DTD Marketplace? I know the SSR is very spread out, but just as a rough guess, how long would it take to walk over to the Marketplace area of DTD?

If we didn't choose to walk (or it was raining) what are the other WDW transportaion options for getting there?

I think you can actually spit to it.

We stayed in Congress Park which is the section closest, and you just walk to the end of the buildings, then you walk a short nature path and you go over a bridge and the entrance where the buses are is right there. BTW, that is really handy if you are heading to another resort for dinner or something. You just walk 5 minutes and hop on a direct bus from DD.

You can walk from SS to the Marketplace, or over to the West Side direct (the latter only during daylight hours).

Essentially I did a ring around - from the area near the West Side, through the West side, around the Marketplace and back where I started. It's not a far walk, it really doesn't matter where you are at SS - but Congress Park would be closest to the Marketplace.

We stayed at Saratoga Springs, and we were back in Congress Park, and it only took us about 10 min. to walk over to Downtown Disney Marketplace. They also have boat service but it took us longer to walk to the boat dock than it did to just walk straight there, go figure!

Here is a map. Congress Park is on the water. It's not on the map, but the path would be at the very top where the road is. You are just crossing a bridge and there is the entrance to DD.
