Walk to DD from DD Marriott?

Hi. Friends are staying this week at the DD Marriott...can someone please tell me how long of a walk it is from this Marriott to Downtown Disney? THanks!!

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in August and regularly walked to DD Marketplace. It took us about 10 minutes to the Marketplace.

It's an easy walk to DD from all of the properties on Hotel Blvd. The Courtyard by Marriot is only the equivalent of a couple blocks from DD. The close proximity to DD is the reason we always pick one of these hotels for part of our stay. It's fun to walk over in the evening and stroll back with an ice cream cone from Ghiradelli's.

How is this walk with 72 yr. old and 4 kids(8,6,3,1)? We'll be there Dec.9-Dec.14 and was wondering is DD buses are more reliable than Courtyard. Thank you!
