I recall on the boards once that you can walk to Beaches and Cream from Epcot, is this true or what is the best way to get there? What resort is it by? Thanks Lori

Yes, you can walk there. You need to leave through the International gateway. The restaurant is located right between The Yacht Club and the Beach Club. It is part of the Beach Club Resort though. It is right near the pool.

Enjoy, the food there is YUMMY!!! Get the onion rings instead of fries!!

It is a short walk from World Showcase in Epcot through the International Gateway to Beaches and Cream. As JoiseyMom said, it's between the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts. The first time we went there, we had some trouble finding it since it sits back behind the pool area and it's really a small restaurant. It's worth the search though - the ice cream is yummy!

If you're not familiar with the International Gateway, it's between France and United Kingdome in World Showcase, on the United Kingdom side.

5-10 minute walk is all it takes, and unless it is stinkin' hot, it is a very pleasant walk.

You can also catch one of the Friendship boats outside of the International Gateway, but they actually take longer. It's faster to walk. As you leave the park there is a bridge going to the Y&B Club, but if you look to the left there is a small path that takes you right by the water. It's a quaint alternative to going over the bridge.

I would reccomend going during off hours. This place gets pretty packed.

I would love to try B&C on our next trip, but would not go from Epcot (we like the plentiful dining choices there), but would go from MK or MGM. Is there an easy route from MK? Walkable or with a boat? Thanks, and my apologies to the OP.

You can catch the boat from MGM to the B&C, but I don't know how you would get there from MK.

From MK take a resort bus to the Yacht Club (shares with other Epcot resorts)/ Enjoy the lovely lobby, go stright through and out the back door and take a left and walk along the resort towards the BC and Stormalong Bay.

From MGM you can take a friendship boat or walk, it is about a 15 minute walk from MGM around the BW to the BC area.

Enjoy, it is one of our favorite places to eat.

We walked to/from Epcot from/to Beaches and Cream twice last week. They are so close that the walk was very tolerable, even with heat index over 100 degrees. I'm dreaming of a No Way Jose right about now............

I was thinking of going after Illumations how late are they open? And will I be able to get back to my hotel without a cab? We are staying at Pop Century.

They are open pretty late - but its VERY crowded after Illuminations and over the prime lunch hours. For lunch, between the ten minute walk there, the ten minute walk back and a possible 40 minute wait for lunch, its a big investment in time for a burger and ice cream. If you go later in the afternoon or right at 11:00, you will be much better off.

After Illuminations, there is the B&C sprint - people watch Illuminations from near the International Gateway and sprint to B&C once the finale ends. Since the restuarant is so tiny, it doesn't take long to fill.

If you do get a table, you can take the DTD bus and transfer to a PC bus if you want to avoid cab fare.

Perhaps one day Disney will expand this restaurant, since its so popular - or put in a similar venue over on the BW side.

Another thing to keep in mind - the Y&BC pool is pretty incredible - it might turn into an expensive sundae - you might discover a need to stay at the Y&BC if you bring kids through here.

Can you park at the BC to eat at B&C then go into Epcot??
We are arriving at the perfect time to eat a late lunch and then we want to the World Showcase to find Jasmine. Thanks and my apologies also to the OP.

After Illuminations the wait is normally about an hour long!

You can park at BC to eat at one of their resturants but technically you are not allowed to park there eat at thier resturants and then go to Epcot.
