WALK or DRIVE????

help!!!!

We are staying at the DAys Inn West on Ball Rd. I can't figure out if we can just walk to DL/DCA or not? And if not then what would you do trying be the most cost effective, but most convientent way to get there???

Day 1 we are eating breakfast with Minnie & Friends at the Plaza Inn then DL
Day 2 eating probably at Ihop or whatever is near by then DL
Day 3 we are eating at Goofy's Kitchen in DLHotel then DCA

I am so confused looking at a map and trying to figure it out. It seems so much easier to ask for help since many of you can actually visualize or see where I need to go.... how to get to DL/DCA from our hotel. From what I understand there is only one entrance, right?

Just a quick fyi. Don't eat at the Ihop on Harbor, it's WAAAAAY overpriced. For a good breakfast go to Denny's or Millie's, for a better breakfast go to Mimi's. These are all on Harbor right across the street from DL.

It is said that the motels on S. Harbor close to the bus drop off are a 5-10 walk to the main entrance of either park. If that is the case, looking at where the Days Inn is on the map, you'd be looking at a 20 minute walk or so from the main entrances to the parks.

Ouch. Days Inn is poorly positioned. Right on the Northwest edge of the resort where there is no entrance.

It's possible to walk from Days Inn West to DL/DCA. There's a sidewalk along Disneyland Drive that will take you towards Magic Way (Parking structure on right, as well as DTD and DL Hotel). From there, a rarely used walkway on the left hand side can be used to cut through DTD to get to DL/DCA.

This route may take awhile, but it is the most cost effective and direct. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I would call it convenient though.

Ah, I was hoping someone would clear that up. Aside from the Harbor and pedestrian entrance, I wasn't aware that one could get from the DL Drive through to DTD. I haven't been to that side before, isn't it all fenced off for DL hotel guests only?

Also, isn't there a tram from the Mickey and Friends parking structure to the esplanade?

There is a tram from Mickey & Friends parking to DTD. It has no other stops in between.
