We went a few years ago on Feb and a monsoon set in for 4-5 days of our trip. A miserable day at WDW was still better than a miserable day at work/home. Would I do it again? Transfer your reservation to me and watch.
Dollar tree get the rain ponchos in a 2 pack for a dollar. And get enough to toss after use, so hard to refold. And most importantly..... if you have luck like me you will be prepared for a monsoon and it will never happen. So you will be able to bring all the flipping rain wear home to store away!!!!!
You both should,,,,,you know you have the same likes,,,,we have been very fortunate to meet some great people thru these boards that we have met at Disney....enjoy
I have a couple of very good friends I still keep in touch with that were table mates on DCL. I was against the idea at first, but now years later we still chat on Facebook and occasionally talk about meeting up in WDW since we both travel there often.
When I was 14, I lived in Boca Raton and our band went to play at WDW. I remember on the bus being a little kid asking dumb questions. I specifically remember asking my teacher "What if it rains?" She looked at me and said, "We get wet!". I said something (I forget exactly) about wanting to go on Mine Train and she said "well, then it will be more like a water slide".
I have tried to adopt that attitude as I have grown older.
My DW usually checks the weather 2 weeks in advance. She gets all upset that is shows rain every day. I tell her don’t worry, things can change. They usually do, maybe a sprinkle one day and a 10 min shower another. We haven’t had a washed out trip yet.
