I hope your birthday was fabulous!! Sounds like you guys had a fun time
YAY for Mickey Mail!!! ahhhh I can't wait, we're all getting so close now!
as for Disneyquest - I used to work there so I'm more familiar than I'd like to be with the place haha. Honestly, I don't know if you guys would find it worth it to spend the money to go. It's a fun place for kids that are, I don't know...maybe between 8-13? and even then, it doesn't take more than 2-3 hours to do everything in the building. There's very little for kids under about 7 to do - one floor has a section of arcade games mostly geared toward kids but the rest is mainly for teens/adults. I will say that Fix-It Felix Jr. is really fun and cute, haha but that's pretty much the only Wreck-it Ralph thing in there. I know some families LOVE DQ and go there multiple times a trip, but I'm not sure if it would be the best choice if you're on the fence about it. just my opinion of course, but I hope that helps a little bit!!
Thank you for your input on that! That's kinda what I was thinking. We may decide in the moment if we want to do it, if not there is plenty to do around DTD, like SHOP! I am too worried about it!
the girls looked so cute on pajama day!! Those pj's are really cute. Too bad they don't come in my size!
I'll have to Google "how to clean pennies". I was thinking of washing them afterwards, but if I have time, I may do them ahead. The ones I have are pretty shiney, but could use a good cleaning! I, too, only have one more paycheck before I leave. That's a bit nerveracking! (did I spell that right? It doesn't look right. Oh well!) I love that Donald noticed the shoes you did!! How awesome is that!!!
Thanks!
The penny cleaning was easy, soak your pennies in 1/4 c of vinegar mixed with 1 tsp of salt for about 5 min. (its best to use pre- 1982 pennies bc they have higher copper content and will be shinier) and then after the soak rub them down with a pencil eraser, that will REALLY make them shine! That's it! FYI- the larger M&M mini's tube held 29 pennies and $14.50 in quarters!
I need to start gathering pennies and cleaning them! I decided just in the last few days to do the pressed pennies thing so...
I love their jammies! How fun that they do that at church. The girls must have loved that!
I love it that you had hot cocoa and cookies for Nightmare before Christmas. That is awesome.
Oh- and HOW FUN to see your shoes in Disney!!! You do such a good job. She looks thrilled with them.
Read the above mention stuff on cleaning them!

It was fun, your girls will enjoy cleaning them too! And yes, my church is awesome and the kids LOVED going to church in jammies!
Ooooo--shiny pennies! I gotta get our pennies gathered and cleaned up!
I'm glad you had such a great birthday--food trucks sound amazing! You deserved a great day!
We love nightmare! Good choice! And adorable pjs on your sweet girls!
Read above on penny cleaning!! A lot of people dont realize the eraser trick! But its amazing!
I can't believe we are 30 days out. Dh will be starting a new job and can't go so it will just be me and my 8 year old.
I feel like I have so much more to do. So...... Much..... More........
Well that's kinda fun, a girls only trip!

I could see doing that, but pretty sure my hubby wouldn't want to be left out bc he loves Disney too much!
Don't stress, it will all come together before you leave!
Have to say I loved the frozen jammies. Ok if you get water park fun and more tickets do you get hard tickets for the more part?? If so we could give you one as we will have extras. If no are on magic band maybe we could lend you a magic band when you go to disneyquest? anyone know?
Well, I read up on it and the voucher has to be used in the presence of the holder (names are on it) so the only way we could use someone elses voucher would be if they were there at DTD with us and ran in and redeemed it and had it linked to one of our bands. So I am just not going to stress, I know most of it is too big for my kids to do anyway, so we may just skip it again, more time to SHOP!
I'm so glad you had a great birthday! Your girls are darling in those jammies!! They are darling anyway, but just such cuteness with the jams!
I did love that pic of the Donald checking out D's shoes that you painted! I think he was truly bowled over by them. I know I was!
As for the "borrowing" the magic bands, we did that when we took Charlotte in February. Emily and Josh didn't have any, so we just had them wear ours and take a couple of our fastpasses with Charlotte. That was before everyone had bands, though, so I'm not sure how that would work. I know the vouchers are attached to your magic bands, so we can't just give them away. I know we won't be going to Disney Quest either.
Well, I hope you have a great weekend coming up. Any big plans for picnics or such? When I visit my sister in Texas, I try to stay indoors as much as possible or in her pool. Especially in August! Have a good one!

I can barely stand walking out to my car it's so HOT right now! The food truck place is sorta like a picnic though, because its outdoor and stuff and we actually are going there again tonight! But we wait until like 7:30, lol...when the sun goes down it's not so bad!
The girls are precious in their matching Frozen pjs. Too cute!!
We've never done the Quest, so I can't comment on that.
I love your movie night. I need to plan some of those this fall to get my kids pumped.

You are getting so close!
Yes! Movie nights are fun, I don't go all out, but man, some people do great with them (like Annegirl or JackieMarie or STLMickeyMom) but I would def recommend it, whether you do them big or small, its so fun. We sat down and made a list of the ones we wanted to watch before our trip!
