Walk-ing Back to Disney! COMPLETED 10/16! A Fall 2014 PTR!

Just look at all the work you've done!!! Wow!! Ok, I have to admit, I tried the silhouette using wax paper and my wax paper DID NOT IRON ONTO THE SHIRT!!! I tried both sides as I didn't know which side was sticky. Yep, just didn't work, so I pinned the cut out onto the shirt and did it that way. Didn't realize I could screw up wax paper!! What's the secret?? Anyways, it all looks FABULOUS!!!

Ahhhh, you have to use freezer paper, not wax paper. It was kinda hard for me to find too. They didn't have it at Walmart so I got it at my local grocery store. I would have made the same mistake if I hadn't read someone else's fail on wax paper too!

Hey, great update!! I love everything!! And congrats on getting so much done over the weekend. That MNSSHP outfit of yours is perfect! You look adorable!! and it won't be too hot for you either. That, for me, is the biggest concern in September. And of course you can never have too many shoes, so the girls are learning that early. I think it's a great idea to wait to show the entire outfits because if you pack too early they will definitely get badly wrinkled. Besides, we all need to learn a little patience…. Have a great day and stay out of the heat!!

I love how scar turned out, the hubby wanted him for our 2nd AK day, I was going to do a Simba... lol, Scar is much cooler.

Thank you!! It will look much less frumpy with a fitted tee, but overall I am pretty thrilled with how it turned out. I may try to find another pair of purple tights... those are VERY tight, bc theyre a one size fits all sorta thing, but apparently not bc they were already digging into me... sigh, if I dont find another pair I may wear them and end up taking them off after some pictures... we shall see!

Don't feel bad - I did the exact same thing last year - wrecked the coolest Toy Story shirt ever. Sadly - I have YET to find freezer paper around here. Maybe I'll find it in time for our next trip?

I know I commented on your Hallie outfit on FB - but I just adore it! To me, it is the PERFECT MNSSHP outfit, because it's a costume, but it's still something you can wear and be comfortable!

And I love all of the Lambie costume too - it's perfect!! Great job everyone on that!

I think the shoes are FANTASTIC - I agree - I have always been like that... Something comfortable that can get wet, but coordinates with many outfits. I should talk, as I am bringing 5 or 6 pairs of shoes for myself. LOL

The Tees are fanatastic! You totaly ROCK at those! Some day I will figure out where they hide the freezer paper in MN and try my hand at it again. I still wear the failed Toy Story tank - just not in public. LOL

So proud of you for getting everything done! WHOOT!

I suppose everyone has heard the Frozen news by now... the Frozen Summer Fun whatever is being extended until Sept 28th now, and I will be in the park Saturday Sept 27th, my arrival day.

Honestly, I am not excited. It seems like it's going to clog the park up, especially being the last weekend of this event. I really see nothing, aside from maybe the fireworks that really interests me either. My only happy thought on the subject is that maybe people will be so busy waiting around to do Frozen things that the rest of the park and rides will be less crowded??? At least I hope so!!!

I really want a good photo in front of the hat this year since we couldn't get one last year due to the monster party stage set up... I am thinking this will be much the same with a Frozen stage set up. So fingers crossed all is removed on our 2nd HS day!

Anyway, so I am not tweaking my plans for this, aside from adding the fireworks to our itinerary at the end of the night after Fantasmic. Lets hope all goes well. After all, this is the day I am MOST looking forward too! Because it's my day to FINALLY squeeze Lori!! Y'all don't even know... seriously, I am so looking forward to it that I actually brought tears to my eyes in the car driving the other day when "Best Day of My Life" came on and I was imagining arriving to HS and running up and hugging her. She's gonna think I am such a weirdo!

In other Disney news, we are now below 50 days until we begin our travels to Disney. The whole leaving to the hotel in Austin the night before thing has my countdown thrown off, because it's 49 days until we leave our home, 50 til Disney, but I have decided that going to Austin is, in fact, the start of our trip, so that's what we're going with! Or maybe I just like seeing the smaller number on my countdown....

Speaking of... I realized today that I don't think I ever posted the girls new countdown chain?!?! At least I can't find it if I did, so I am posting it now! We made this on the day we hit 2 months, about a week or so ago...

And now today, it is definitely looking shorter!!!!

Also, I got a special package in yesterday... Maddie's Lambie costume from Lori!!

Oh, and I picked up these gel cling things at Michaels half-off the other day for our window decor...

This was our window last year, we stayed in the AoA LM rooms, so we went with that, but this time, of course, we want to do Halloween themed! I really like these clings I got, and I am hoping to find some Disney ones as the Halloween merch rolls out (which sadly will be very soon) and I am thinking also of getting a strand of Halloween lights and a small timer too... what do you think?

Other than that not too much else on the planning front, just slowly working on the remaining to do list, but most of the items left our things to purchase not do, so I sorta have to wait until I have each item budgeted to do that... I hate waiting. But here's what I have:

Things to Buy:
-White fitted shirt for me
- PJs for Liv's Mickey gift
- Foot Soak
- Portable charging bank
- Sandals for the whole fam
- Halloween window decor
- One more batch of pins
- Anti-Frizz hair junk (any suggestions??)

To Do:
- Chris to finish his costume shirt
- Me to do Chris' costume hat
- Photograph all the outfits!
- Make my buttons (Dis & Sept Planners)
- Print off the final spreadsheet and cards to laminate
- Reserve hotel for Austin night
- Try to snag BOG FP+ for lunch
- Get the snack-port printed (somehow my order didnt go through )
- Get & Paint Magic Bands
- Pack
- Get quarters for pressed pennies
- Get tip money
- Deep clean the house before we leave!!


I'm really at that point where it's so close I can't stand it!! I just want to be doing Disney stuff all the time, and there's not much left to do!! I suppose that's a good problem to have. Thankfully I have friends in Disney now, so they are texting me questions all throughout the day, which I don't mind, because I feel like I am there. And then soon all of my fellow Dis-ers and Sept planners will start there trips and I can stalk all the photos!!

All in all, I realize I will survive, but it's just like pregnancy, the waiting at the end is the hardest part!!!

I am on a mission to pack as sparsely as possible this trip!! We have to pay for bags on the way there! And our room was such a disaster last trip, and this one is twice as long! I don't want crap everywhere. I would much prefer to do laundry 2 or 3 times and bring the bare minimum!! It's funny how I am the exact opposite as last year, I packed EVERYTHING that time, lol... maybe next year I will find a happy median?
