Of course I LOVE all of your shoes, but my Charlotte is going to FLIP for the Rapunzel ones! I showed them to my DH and he was totally impressed with your painting skills! Pretty awesome!

I would love my shoes to be just like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/161833135/mickey-loves-minnie-hand-painted-vans Except with all of the red portions being blue - but I love how the dots are outlined in black (I think it makes them stand out more) and the little black lines here and there. And I really love how the red goes around the lace portion/around the ankle part... so I would love that part blue too. I love how the remainder of the shoe is white - I like the simplicity of that. Then, of course is butt on the back of one shoe and just his angry eyes/top of his head peeking over the top of the other... Kind of like this:

As for doing your business on FB... I have been very successful there. I started off on Etsy though - and I was there for about a year +. I think Etsy is imparative to build a good customer base - many people will just go there and do a search. I opened my FB fanpage about a year later, and evenutally I moved my entire business there and put my Etsy shop on permanent vacation - due to the fact that I couldn't take any more custom orders as I was full. Looking at your talent and busy-ness, I suspect the same thing may happen to you.

If you need any help setting anything up, please let me know, I would be happy to help out.

Also - be VERY careful about posting your "business" here on The Dis... Never mention your store name here (when you get one), and from here forward, I would take any order details (like mine above) into a PM format. The Dis is very adament about making sure there is no soliciting here. If you've ever noticed in my thread - you can read the entire thing from top to bottom and inside out, and you will never find mention of my busness name or how to find me. It's just not worth it to me to lose my friends here. I only mention this, because I had to learn the hard way, and I don't want that to happen to you.

And, as a side note... I love how you and Lori have become such good friends! You would make an amazing duo.

Question on the shirts. What size did you make the stencil?

On the shirts, I generally make an adult stencil about the size of a regular sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Childrens ones about half that. I also always put my graphic at the top of my shirts, almost right under the collar. It looks so much better on women, because it doesn't get cut off by your tata's!! Yes, that is something I most def have to thing about... lol

Ok I posted earlier but now its gone?? So here I go again. We made our ADRs today and got BoG on the 2nd before the MNSSHP ressy is 4:55. Not sure if this will interfear with you and Raina's dismeet in the line?

I SAW!!! Congrats!! I think that ressie will be great!! We plan to hop in line a little after 6, so that will most likely be near the end of your meal! We might be able to swing just holding your spot, after all you are the rest of our "family" we're waiting to meet us there..

Oh my goodness! Those shoes are awesome! It sounds like you're having a total blast doing them, too, which is so important. No doubt in my mind you could get a lot of orders for custom shoes!

The hats and outfits were a great score and will look so adorable on your girls. I'm glad they loved the hats. You guys will certainly be stylin' at Disney!

I know we've already seen the tentative one, and I don't think anything changed, but Josh's day-by-day breakdowns are SO helpful and there are lots of tips in there, so be sure to go read!!

Other than that I'm just over here waiting (un)patiently for Wednesday's ADR day...

I've perfected my schedule, and I am just hoping I can snag the ADR's I have planned because I REALLY don't want to redo anything. (Who does, right??)

I also realized I scheduled us for Epcot on a day with morning EMH's... sigh, I am not a fan of that, however this is our second day, first full day at a park, so I think we will be running off our Disney-high from just arriving and it will not be a problem to get up an hour earlier. It does stink though, because MK has evening EMH's the night prior that we plan to attend! So we will be out late and up early, so lets hope my Disney-high theory works!

I hope your Disney high theory works too... I would just be prepared to take a break that first Epcot day... Maybe go into the park for a few hours in the morning - take a nice long break... then go back later? That afternoon break really helps a lot.

Yea I think our meet will still work out fine. As long as we get in line by like 6:15-6:30 is say we'd be doing good! I am so excited!

I love, love, love all the shoes! I'm not sure if Mickey & Minnie kissing or Maleficent are my favorites! I would totally buy something like that on etsy or FB since I have no artistic talent!

Some of my days are clashing with what's recommended at easywdw.com too but I'm not too stressed. The biggest concern is going to MK on our last Saturday but we just HAVE to end our trip there!

I am a wee bit scared about the girls outgrowing their shoes before our trip, because I probably wont really let them wear them until then, lol... but I bought them a little big so they'd have room to grow. So *fingers crossed* it all works out!
