Your plans look really good. I think you'll be happy with them, even though we all know there will probably be changes somewhere along the line, right?

I do hope the dates for the dessert party come out soon so you won't have to think about it any more except to look forward to it. May seems a long way away, but hopefully they'll come out before then.

I know you said the 2nd was our only day you thought we could match up but just to let you know the 29th we will be at EP but we have PH and staying onsite so we have talked about hopping over to MK after dinner for EMHs and who knows we may have to move a few things to get the ADRs we want..lol

Oh! Well we will be there that night for sure, and I am certain we will stay for the EMH's!!

I love your new plans now that the hours have been released. I think you have fit in some great ADRs and QS locations with your schedule.

Me too!! The dessert party is getting on everyone's nerves. I hope that gets resolved soon. It's almost ADR day for me and then I can really relax!

Guess what y'all?! I've been crafting!!

I have been in Disney-mode even more than usual lately, especially with the arrival of our goodies from Lori, and I finally got to some projects the last few days!!

First off, MY HUSBAND actually brought up doing a project with our pins the other day!!! Jaw, meet floor. Right!?!?!?

Yea, I was pretty shocked, it's not everyday my husband wants to craft, or do Disney stuff, let alone do Disney crafts!!!!

So I hoped on that bandwagon right away, which led to us deciding on making a canvas that uses our pins to spell out "Walk" as well as a pin lamp!!

We had this old ugly brown lamp I found outside one day, with no shade, (Sorry, forgot to grab a before photo) so we picked up some spray paint and lucked out in a shade at the thrift store for $1! Soon enough we had this...

It's kind of a sectioned lamp shade, so we decided there will be a section for each of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Pluto! Perfect!!

The canvas we haven't gotten around to yet, but Chris did decide we should do 4 smaller ones instead of one big one, that way we can do one letter of our name at a time, since we don't have nearly enough pins to spell it all out, yet. So photo's to come soon of that when completed. Right now still deciding on what color to paint or wrap them in.

Next up, my painted shoes!!!!!

I am SO happy with how these turned out! I love them!

I only did a pair for Olivia so far, because I found these ked-like shoes at walmart for $6 something and grabbed them. I already had all the paint and brushes I needed and then scotch guard that I can use over and over is about $5.

I went with a classic Mickey/Minnie theme to match the rompers that Lori made!

Aren't they cute!! I loveeee them!!! They were a tad harder than I thought, just to warn you. It was tedious work keeping the lines straight. Took me about 2 hours, but I'd say it was well worth it! I am looking forward to doing more!! Including some for Maddie too!

If you're looking to do your own, I just used accrylic paint and then you wait for them to dry and spray scotch-guard over them, that's it! If you paint on darker shoes, I've heard it recommended that you use an accrylic primer first, under the spots you paint.

Now we have one perfect and complete Minnie/Mickey outfit!

Now all I need is Maddie's shoes and necklace and thats another day down!! Chris and I will most likely wear some of our Disney tees we already own this day.

Coming up next on the project front is MORE shirts!! I am expecting some tee's in soon that were ordered for Lori's family and I can't wait to do those, and then I have some adorable "couples" ones for me and the hubs and Lori and her hubs too!!

Also soon to come, Lori is working on Hoop Dee dresses for the girls, and you guys can just imagine how cute those will be, I've seen the fabric and we are ALL in for a treat. And we also may be cooking up something Frozen too...

In other Disney news, we are down to 189 days!! Woop!!

Next Wednesday is our ADR date, on the 2nd!! Yeeeeee! I am so anxious about it!! I think we will get most, no problems, but I am hoping to get the first spot of the day for BBB, and BOG dinner. Not to mention that blasted Dessert Party, if they EVER release the dates already!

Oh, and this Tuesday is a super-dooper special day too. I am even MORE nervous about trying to get on D~'s list for a custom bag!! EEEP! So everyone send some good juju my way as I am sitting at my computer with my hand over the send button Tuesday night!!! I am soooo nervous, I've never tried to get on the list before and I don't know how many people will be trying for the same spot as me!! So wish me SPEED and LUCK!

Thanks. It's tough to decide with so many awesome ideas out there!!! We are going with the regular ole autograph book again this trip. But Olivia loves looking through her old one, so I think shell like it again.

Theres only one spot I could get that would be before my trip and its the very first one, so chances of me even getting a bag before this trip is probably not good anyway, so if I had to wait until Sept it wouldnt kill me, I suppose. I got the crafting bug, I got it bad.

Haha, so it all started with Olivia's shoes I made. They were just so cute, so, of course I had to make Maddie some, right!??!!?

A: Ummm, yeah!

I actually remembered to take kind of a "before" shot too.. as you can see, these shoes posed a new challenge as they were not white!!

Aren't they cute!! I love them!! Took me about 2 hours again, so I didn't improve my time, though if the shoes had been white to begin with and I wouldn't have had to do all the white trim it would have been a little less time.

Then, today, I bought... wait for it... 3 more pairs of shoes!!!! Two for some special little princesses in St. Louis and one for a friend. I decided to do my friends pair first because I wanted to try something different and I had a fun idea in mind for her...

This time they were white, though I had no intention to keep them that way. And I was trying out a more complicated design so I used a paint pen and penciled my design on first.









These were so FUN to do!!

I have never even thought of drawing a Figment before, so that was fun!!

I still need to go touch up some edges and am considering painting the inside of the letters, any opinions on that??

But love them still! Too fun!! I can not wait to do more!!

Pretty sure I will be posting a lot of these here in the coming days!

In other news... if you recall, tonight was a BIG night! It was the opening of the reserved spots on D~'s list for a custom park bag...

At exactly 7pm on the dot I hit "refresh" and there it was... her posting that the list was officially open. I'd heard things went fast. D~ herself posted that you should copy and paste your info so it was ready to go at that moment, well, that's exactly what I did... and low and behold my screen showed me I was #2...wow! I did it, right????? Riiiiggghhhhttt??? Well, upon refreshing again I saw that I was, in fact, not #2 to comment, there was all of a sudden like 25 comments and only 18 spots!! So what do I do?? COUNT!! After counting and re-counting I finally realized my true spot "in line" was actually...

...

...

#8!

I will keep y'all updated on this fun as I find out more, like when I will be placed on the schedule!!

Other than that, nothing new to report! I am sure I will be on tomorrow updating you on all this, possibly with new shoes!! LOL!

I LOVE the figment shoes! I don't really like figment, but I love what you did! if it was me, I wouldn't paint the inside of the letters. one, because I think it looks great the way it is and two, i'd be afraid that i'd mess them up if I tried to paint inside the outline.

I saw that you made it onto D~s list. I even counted to see where you were. that's so exciting! I can't wait to see if she gets to you and what you pick!

Oh and I remember reading in your TR about magic shoes? My 4-year old will make the 40" mark in regular shoes no problem. My 2-year old is 37" in bare feet right now and I know it will just KILL him if he doesn't get to ride any of the big boy rides. He may make it pretty close to 40" in shoes by the time October rolls around anyway. I was hoping he would get to do Star Tours and Soarin'. No mountains for him but I want him to be able to ride at least those two!

Thanks! DMGuerts on here, she has many TR's I follow, we all call her D~, well she makes amazing park bags!! They're quilted, hand made, and one of a kind. You can find her boutique HERE!! You can see tons of photos of her bags there! They're awesome!

Anyway, she doesn't open up her list for orders often, and its tough to get on because demand is high! So I was super pumped to make the list!!

She also does a lot of auctions, usually about one a month, for a bag as well!

Liv looooved Soarin and Star Tours but her fave was Splash Mountain, she liked Big Thunder Mnt as well!! Only one I didnt let her do that she was tall enough for was Tower of Terror, but she wanted to!! This time I will let her if she insists.
