I am in the same boat as you, I could never wear those shoes all day at Disney. I have to have to wear running shoes or my very supportive sandals (on rainy or very short park days).

oh my gerd!!!!!! I am doing painted shoes too!!!! I have already decided what I'm gonna do.....since I love matching everything, (and I don't want to have to take a bazillion pairs with us....) I am making Minnie heads and sewing on a little piece of fabric/Velcro.../something . Then I am going to make bows to match the outfits to put on Minnie's head!!!

I found fake toms at five below for five bucks....also walmart has their own version of keds, and there are some at target which are a bit more, but not too much

On my pinterest page is also a pin about using mod podge to apply park maps to shoes....I might try that too, just trying to find some good shoes for that project!!

I dont know how I missed this! But Oh My Gerrrrrrd, you're too funny!

I have no idea what five below is, but I am assuming its a store where things cost $5 or less that is not in Texas, lol....

I LOVVVVVVVE the idea of interchangeable bows to match all the outfits! I may steal that one!

Yea, it stink having to wear supportive footwear and all, but by the last day on our trip last time I had to keep stopping to rest my feet and this trip is like 4 days longer!! So I am a little worried about it! But hopefully well be keeping a slower pace and having more rest so it should be fine, but I def have to take care of my feetsies, no adorable shoes for me, no matter what!!

Yeah, five below is like an upscale dollar store . they have some cool stuff though. I am worried about doing shoes for me too. I have been having some problems for the past couple of years. I'm gonna try some out this summer with some insoles and see what i can do. If nothing else, the kids will be cute!!!

We are almost to 200 days!!!! Is it silly to be this excited when it's still like six months away?????

Let me start by saying how awesome all of you are!!! I have been in a really appreciative mood of all my Dis friends lately!! It's so nice to have people to discuss things with that others grow tired of hearing! No where else could I hash out a touring plan until my head wants to fall off and not annoy everyone around me, lol!

Anyway, I have had a fun few days, yesterday I watched Lilo & Stitch for the first time!



Olivia has seen it on tv before, but the rest of us never had. So we finally all sat down to view this....interesting movie. Gotta say, it was a little weird... the whole alien section in the beginning was odd to me and then how mean Lilo was and how the sister left her alone with the stove on and stuff....weird.

Yeah, so the end was cute, and the message, but it was a unique experience for me... lol.



But now at least we are all prepared to meet Lilo & Stitch at our Ohana breakfast!!!! Yip!

Also yesterday the hubs and I were wondering through WalMart desperately searching for green gifts [My friends and I ALWAYS have silly parties & movie nights, and we are having a StPattys day party where we drew names and we have to buy that person a GREEN gift, its turning out to be rather challenging for all of us, lol] and we happened upon the COOLEST puzzles!








Okay, so I love puzzles!! Always have, and I found these and totally "Squeeeee'd" in excitement! The top one, the villians is small so I didn't buy it yet, but its cool because its a circle and its holographic! Now the others are what got me REALLY excited!! They are STUNNING! Seriously, sooooo beautiful!! They have B&B, LM, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Bambi, and Snow White ones. I would have taken photos of all of them, but I didn't want to look like a crazy person taking a million pics of puzzles and sqeeeee-ing in the middle of WalMart, so I refrained. I only bought the B&tB one so far, but will most likely be going back for more! They are like $10 there or you can see them all HERE!!!!! I didn't see it at WalMart, but there on Amazon there is also a AMAZING one of the castle!! I will be searching for that one, because they are surprisingly much cheaper at WalMart!!

So yeah, just thought I would share because I found those to be awesome and all...

Anywho.... in Disney planning news we are down to 207 days! Which, I noticed on my times, is now in the 6 months & however many weeks phase instead of 7 months! Whooo, I love when the months goes down on my ticker!!!

Not too much has changed, but I did see the September hours came out on EasyWDW and they finally updated them on Touring Plans, there was one thing different on my 2 days in Sept, and that is that DHS, which we have slated for day 2, is only open until 7:30pm, not 10pm, as predicted.

At first I was totally bummed and figured we would move the day around, but the more I thought on it I decided I am gonna leave it. The only must do's we have there are:

• Meet Disney Junior Characters
• Fantasmic
• TSMM
• ToT
• Muppet Vision 3D
• Animation Class
• Star Tours
• Sci Fi
• Disney Junior Live

I KNOW we can get all that done EASY! We did soooo much more than that the first time and with bigger crowds and not knowing the layout well. Plus, we will meet all the DisJunior guys at breakfast so we wont have to wait in lines for them. The schedule shows closing at 7:30 but Fantasmic at 8pm. So I am guessing that means you wont be able to ride anything after 7:30 but you can still be in the park to go to the show, which is fine for us. I like that we will have early days like that because we will be able to conserve our energy and have some time for swimming and stuff back at the resort. So now I am LOVING the early closing!

Speaking of DHS, I finally looked it up, and saw that the Glow with the Show ears are officially running at WDW... at first the only thing I knew they worked at was the Osbourne Lights at Christmas, but upon further investigation I found they work at Fantasmic, Wishes, Celebrate a Dream Projection Show, and Hallowishes too. I dont think they do with Illuminations, but I could be wrong.






I think these look pretty spiffy, myself, and they especially look beautiful at Fantasmic!! I even watched a youtube video and was mesmerized by how beautiful they were.

So, yeah, we will most definitely be purchasing these! They also will work at any other Disney park, so if you go to Disneyland they can be used there too!! And they should always work, even if they come out with newer versions, so you won't have to re-buy them ever!

So far, I have seen they are cheapest at the Parks themselves, so we will just get a gift card for them I think, and have that all ready to go! They were $25, I believe!

Other than those little things, not much new on the planning front! I am excited for a Dis friend who is working on some custom outfits for the girls!!! I can't wait to see what she comes up with, oh, and my bow lady (yes I have a bow lady, she made the custom Krispy Kreme bows for Liv's bday party) will be in town for our Market Days this weekend and she now carries some other fun goodies like those chunky necklaces that are so popular, so I plan to go buy some fun things from her too!

They've also finally released the Southwest fares for October, but we will most likely wait until summer to buy our airfare. There's really no rush because SW fares don't fluctuate much anyway.

For now I am (not so) patiently waiting... waiting to see fun goodies friends are making! Waiting for October hours to be released. Waiting for my ADR date. Waiting to see the fall sales. Just waiting...

Have I mentioned how I loathe waiting!?!?!

And NO! It's most definitely not crazy to be SUPER-FRIGGIN-EXCITED that we are almooooosssssst 200 days out!!!!! I am soooo excited too!!

Man, it does seem far off still though, I believe on my last trip when I made our countdown board we started at 159 days out, and my countdown this time started at like 229 days out, lol.... so it stinks being so far away, but what I do is forget about it for several days and then when I go to change it I get to take off like 10 days at a time, and that's kinda awesome!!!

Southwest is usually high... but sadly they are my fave. I love getting to check my bags for free, and I love their service and they are the only airline in San Antonio that flies direct to Orlando and Vegas. So I usually bite the bullet and book with them...

ME TOOOOOO!!! I hope a lot of people are buying them because it sooo much cooler the more people that wear them. OH! I also read that they just change randomly on their own when your walking around with them on or whatever annnnnnnnddddd if you are standing close to someone else with them on they will sync up with each other! How flippin cool, right!?!?!? I LOVES it!

You shouldn't have mentioned a Disney sale to me right now, lol.... now I simply HAVE TO go look...

I am so bummed with them right now! the flights are so expensive for them, I don't understand it! we usually always book with them because they are the only ones with a direct flight from st louis now and I can't stand the thought of connections with the kids. I'm hoping that some special fares come out sooner or later.

just some interesting info.....I heard on the radio the other day that some research company did a huge study and found the best times to buy airline tickets. supposedly the best time to buy your tickets is like 54 days before your trip (it's different for holidays and stuff, but this was the number of days for just a regular trip). so, i'm checking dates, but planning on waiting until aug 2 to try for our tickets.

Hi Terri! It has taken me a while, but I've finally found the time to read your whole ptr and I must say you really know how to do it right! I love everything about it!

Dan and I just put together that Beauty and the Beast puzzle! We bought it at Disney in September, but it was 1,000 piece. Except ours ended up only having 997 pieces!! Yes, we ended with three pieces missing!! And we were going to glue it and hang it in our finished basement which is done in Disney theme. We don't have pets or kids to cart things off, so it was definitely short 3 pieces…and they were all the same shape, oddly enough. But it is a beautiful puzzle!

I just love your excitement. It's a toss up between you and Mo who generates the most excitement with your words. It gets me all excited for you and I love it!

I feel the EXACT same about SW... sigh... it sucks, but what can we do, layovers with small kids = no fun. We buy our flights separate, we buy the departing flights together and then the return ones. Last year I thought I saw a good fare, bought it, and then they released a better one, but it was really simple to switch and get a credit which I used to buy part of the other flights!
