Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour

We ate after the tour, about 3:00 PM. I would have much preferred to eat first, essentially I had a chili cone queso about 11, the sandwich at 3:00 PM and then a light snack/meal at the end of the day.

I loved the tour, however if I had to do it over, I would have likely saved it for a second trip (that we will now plan because DLR far exceeded our expectations).

Thanks, Abuck! I think we are going to plan a late breakfast about 10:30am, the tour lunch at 3pm and then snack during the evening.

Last June, my 10:30 am tour ended with lunch around 2:00.

My husband just gave the go-ahead to book for the whole family (three of us) when we're there in two weeks. I'm excited - last time I did it, it was just me. My daughter is dying to do it, so I think I'll surprise her with it.

We had two young children the youngest being four. On an afternoon tour where they could ride in the stroller and were both Disney fans it worked fine.

I might be concerned if they didn't tour in the AM or needed to walk themselves.

That said, we all know our own kids best.

Our nine-year-old was pretty pooped by the end of our noon tour. But a lot of that was because we didn't get lunch till 3:00. Once she'd eaten, she rallied.

I went on the tour last Saturday. Michael was the tour guide, he was very knowledgeable, and seemed to really enjoy talking about Walt and Disneyland. I recommend highly. We ate at jolly holiday at the end of tour. I had roast beef sandwich with chips, Diet Coke, and chocolate cake. Cake was way too rich, could only take a small part of it.

Michael was very considerate of the tour guests and their needs, and had lots of fun side stories to share.


We went on haunted mansion. Alice was closed when we got there, so he gave the all of us special tickets we could use later to get on Alice.

We got a real fancy pin at the end, as well as a button at the start.

Tour was from 12 to 3:00 or so and then lunch.

Huh. You could be my twin. We also had Michael, and that was exactly the meal I had on Monday. I also could not finish the cake, but I could eat a whole meal of those chips.

Michael was indeed terrific, especially with kids, of which there were two on our tour, including mine.
