Hi,
My family and I are planning a trip to DL next year. Me and DW have always wanted to do the "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" guided tour. We were wondering if anyone has done it with kids. Our kids will be 8 & 11 yrs old when we go. Should we do it as a family?
Thanks!

We did this tour with our family and we really enjoyed it. You wear headphones and get to hear Walt describe things in Disneyland. My girls were 12 and 10 at the time. We are interested in all things Disney so it was great for us. It was a nice pace and interesting information.

Can someone tell me how long this tour is, & how much it costs per person?

We really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting facts about Walt and Disneyland in general. You have to be the judge in regards to your kids. It might be boring for the 8 year old. Your 11 year old should be old enough to appreciate it.

We did this the other day. An 11 year old seemed to enjoy it but was fidgety (dropping things) and almost ran off without the group. And asked a few too many questions in Walt's Apt. So, as long as the kid can appreciate it and you as parents can keep them in line, it should be fun.

This version of the tour is a lot of listen, walk to another place, then listen again. So, not so much an ongoing narrative.
