OKAY, so I waited too long to get a reservation at the CA Grill for a night and time that would fit our needs. So my question... it isn't reservation ONLY dining is it??? What if I went early - 5:30? What are the chances of being able to eat there without waiting a LONG time??? Also, not all tables are near the window, so you can't see the fireworks unless you are seated at the window??? Is there a balcony to watch the fireworks from if we only go there for drinks and appetizers in a bar? Thanks so much. You guys amaze me with your helpfulness and knowledge.

Depends on how many people...

Usually you can walk in right at opening if it is a really small party.

If you can't make a reservation then yep that restaurant is full for the night and pretty much is "reservation ONLY dining". As the previous poster said they may be able to squeeze you in if you get there when the restaurant opens but some places can't even do that. You certainly won't be able to get in at a convenient time to see wishes from the restaurant baring some strange miracle.

Yes, there is an observation deck outside CG where you can watch Wishes:)

I've been wondering the same for this weekend.

However, I'm one person and I am not interested in Wishes at all so 5:30 may be worth a shot.

Plus you can always be seated at the sushi bar which is usually saved for solo travelers (I was told this last January)
