walk from wyndham to DD?

I read online that the wyndham palace is just across the street from the DD busses.

We have some disney resort PS's booked and I wondered if you can really just walk acroos the street to those busses?

In a word, yes. I've stayed there before and walked over to Downtown Disney. The Wyndham is right across the street- however, the way it's situated you have to come out somewhere near the main entrance to the resort and walk about half a block. It's not bad though- they've recently redone those sidewalks, so it's very pleasant. You can either cross the street right in front of the Wyndham entrance and then walk down from there, or walk down to the Hotel Plaza Blvd. intersection and then cross the street there. They have a little covered walkway that helps shorten the walk to the street, but lately it's been in the middle of the construction to upgrade the road and sidewalks, and don't know if it's opened back up yet. Hard to explain without a map of the intersection, but you'll see when you get there.

We stayed at the Wyndham right after Thanksgiving last year. It was a very short and safe walk to DD - less than 5 minutes to the bus stops from our room (which overlooked the pool). The construction on the intersection is complete - it's very nice.

You may also want to ask this on the transportation board. For dinner PS it's probably fine, but for earlier in the day it might take a long time to get there!
