Walk from Treehouse Villas to DTD?

My favorite perk at Saratoga Springs is the walk to DTD from Congress Park. I'm a huge SS fan.

We are traveling with 18+1 (9 grown-ups; 10 kids ages 2-16) in 2011. We're thinking about renting two Treehouse Villas. I can still remember how much I loved my stay at the age of 13 in 1978!

There are five families; 6 bedrooms; sounds like plenty of room and lots of fun. My main question is the walk to DTD. I hate waiting for a boat or bus. We could drive and park at Congress Park. But, I love to walk!

I want to know the walking time to the West Side and Marketplace. An available map is bonus. I'm the Disney planner and I like to give all the options.

On our last trip, we stayed at the BWV; had a blast. We are a tight group; traveled together for 20+ years. I was the planner; want to plan another perfect trip.

The walk from THV through SSR Grandstand > SSR campus > Marketplace took us about 20 minutes. I found the walk from Westside > La Nouba Parking Lot > Golfcourse back to THV took a bit longer ... but likely because I kept stopping to enjoy the view, smell the flowers, talk to people, etc.

Thanks for the reply. I was estimating about 20 minutes. I'm thinking about bringing my bike; there are bike racks at the entrance to Marketplace.

It's absolutely doable. The walk to SSR from the THV is lovely and only about 5 min(maybe 10 if meandering). I love it. Have a blast with your Grand Gathering!
