walgreens for digital prints?

Has anyone ever printed their digital prints from walgreens? How far is the closest one to wdw? Can they transfer your prints to a cd? Does anyone know the cost?

There is a walgreens very close to Downtown Disney, just down the street from the Crossroads shopping center on the other side of I4.

My experience with taking them my digital card was not good

I really just wanted them copied to a CD, they had a sign that said $3.99 for a CD from a digital card. I asked if that was the price without pictures they said yes. There was an self serve machine where you put the card in and order the CD / Prints. The order came up with 1 print of each, I asked how to get just the CD. The answer was just select 1 and they would adjust it. (These questions were answered by the person at the photo desk) . I do as they said, it copied all my pictures to their computer. They took the little sheet and said it would be about 30 minutes. I really wasn't expecting to wait but decided to run and do a few things, thinking that if I didn't make it back I'd pick up the CD's in the morning.

When I return, they are confused and there is a problem. No one corrected the computer and they have my order as CD & 1 print. Probably not a big deal for some but I have a 512mb card, almost 500 pics on the card. I repeated that I didn't want pictures just the CD, they were very confused and trying to figure out how to stop the printing of the pictures (they hadn't started I quess) that were in que. I ended up waiting almost an hour for them to work it out and give me my CD's. They ended up putting them on 4 CD's and I'm not sure why but the file size was dramatically increased on each .jpg file so they are hard to load from the CD.

I still just paid $3.99 for the 4 CD's. I was not happy but didn't want to complicate matters more! Really just wanted out of there I've wondered what would have happened if I'd waited and returned the next day. No way would I have paid for all those prints.

Hopefully they are now more knowledgeable, this was in Nov 2003. On our last trip thankfully my DH has a new laptop with a CD writer so we made our on CD's!
