Walgreen's After Halloween Clearance

My local Walgreens had the Halloween merchandise marked to 75% off today. I picked up several things, including an inflatable Pirate Mickey for $5.00.

Our local Walgreens' are still only 50% here in Lower Michigan. Maybe tomorrow!!

I went at lunch and it's still 50%. I asked a guy working and he said probably a few more days and that it WILL go to 75% but he's not sure when. So, I'll probably try back on Friday. They did have a few of hte pirate mickey's left. HOpefully one will still be there!

I went to 2 Walgreens today and not only were they still 50% off, but neither had pirate mickeys.

same here too, two stores 50% off tigger halloween one only. The walgreens girl did say they were selling their displays for $5 but they didnt have any displays left. the other walgreens just had tigger display and i felt funny to ask for the display when they had tiggers in the box.

i got halloween pillow cases originally 2.99 for .74 this morning they are cute
the older kids around here all trick or treat with pillowcases so now they have a little decoration on them, spiders, rip, pumpkins and they won't be taking my house pillow cases

My Walgreens had 50% off of candy and 75% off of everything else. I got the last blow up Tigger for $4.99.

In my travels i have been stalking all the walgreens ai can think of and i got tigger right away for $5 and right before coming home for dinner i remembered one more that was on the other side of town as i was driving by ran in and they just marked them down and i got the last Mickey for $5.
the cashier had put all three aside for herself behind the counter, not very nice, when i still need the pooh one, LOL all the other walgreens had just tigger.

I went yesterday and got a bunch of stuff, but no pirate mickey at that one. There are about 3 more around town, but I doubt I'll have a chance to get to them, boo hoo. I'm going to try though, I do need to go to walgreens anyway.

Yesterday, I went too 3 Walgreens and found 2 Pirate Mickey's $5 a piece. There are 2 Walgreens left...I am checking them out today for the Tigger & Pooh.

I went today and got some good things but there was no pirate mickey, tigger or pooh at either of the two i went to. Well I pass two on my way home tonight I will have to check them out.

I went to a Walgreen's in Ann Arbor yesterday, and found nothing left over from Halloween! Do some stores just ship the stuff off to another store or what?

SAME here!! I'm thinking that maybe if the stuff doesn't sell well, they ship it to another store. I work in retail and that happens with our chain- we get shipped clearance stuff because there are some stores that don't even carry clearance. It all depends on how clearance stuff sells in that area.

My Walgreens was in FULL SWING with Christmas. I bought three Hallmark cards though, and got a CUTE stuffed singing snowman and dog. They sing a duet of jingle bells- it's so cute and was only $5.99. (There were a good amt that had been purchased already!). So I guess the trip wasn't a total loss... I was kind of hoping to see this pirate Mickey you've all been talking about though!

Thank you for the tip. I don't get out to WalGreens very often but I read this and made the trip. I have to get ALOT of candy to send to my dh and his soldiers in their stockings. There I bought 3 very large bag of mixed hard candy for a dollar each and then I bought some bags of chocolate for .50 each. I spent $6.47 and bought about 7 bags of candy. Thank you for the info I need all the tips I can get right now.
