Walden Farms products

We tried both the "caesar" and "blue cheese" salad dressings after I had been off artificial sweeteners for two weeks. I didn't react to the caesar, but only had a drizzle on a butter lettuce chicken wrap, but when I had 1 tsp of the blue cheese on a handful of salad greens, I got the worst naseating headache ever. That was enough for me and I tossed them out.

Walden Farms uses sucralose (Splenda) as the sweetener. Obviously I'm sensitive to it now that I'm not used to having in diet soft drinks anymore. You may not be sensitive and these could be an option for you. I use raw stevia instead to sweeten my coffee (not the frutevia or truvia as they use sugar alchohols in addition to stevia). For salad dressings I use just vinegar (any kind but balsamic--to high in sugar). Once you get use to no oil, just vinegar, or a mix with a little mustard, wasabi powder, or greek yogurt for a creamy dressing, is really flavorful and low carb/low fat salad dressing.

I don't remember which product I tried, but it tasted horrible. I think it was the caramel sauce.

I was reading about these on the Jenny Craig boards. Has anyone tried them? They almost sound to good to be true.

thanks

Have you tried the Jenny Craig "SoupAttizers?" I think that's what they are called. I would love to have a low-cal soup with my lunch. It is always so cold where I work.

I use Walden Farms dressing. I really like it as a calorie and fat free dressingl I love the honey mustard the best. I don't care for the Italian that much. I also use the Bacon flavored one.

They also come in individual packets, 6 to a box. I keep these in my purse so that I can have a fat free and calorie free dressing when we eat out.

Is it as tasty as the "real" dressing? No, but since the other dressings have calories and fat it is my best choice.
