Wal Mart ..........

We have a Super WalMart in my little town. i have never been a fan just because it takes so long in there. You can't pop in for something quick because I have to park in Guam usually, then I need one thing in grocery and inevitably one thing in garden . Then there is always a long check out line.

It has nothing to do with the people until....

2 weeks ago we were out and decided to just go home and watch a movie, this required snacks. What was going to be open at midnight? WalMart.

That place was like another dimension. Drunks, people straight out of deliverance. They say the freaks come out at night and I would say yes and the go straight to the Walmart

This weekend I told my DBF lets not go out, we can buy some popcorn and sit on a beach at WalMart and watch the show!

I always wonder about the pajama pant thing (a PP mentioned it)? I love my flannel pajama pants. In the winter you'll see me at the gas station, convenience store, picking up sandwiches at the pizza shop, all in my pajama pants. Apparently that's wrong?

Are you kidding me? What are you talking about? I have NEVER seen a WalMart with broken windows or any unsavory characters. Was it closed? Where are you?

Well, since she lives in California, I'm going to assume it was out there. Just
because you have NEVER seen a walmart in that condition does not mean that out of the thousands of stores they have that one doesn't exist in that condition. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that it's true.

Now we have one that doesn't like Walmart b/c people with disabled children shop there! Lovely how true colors shine.

Where did you get that? Jump to conclusions much? She took time out of her shopping to help a lost and obviously mentally delayed child that the parents where incapable of keeping an eye on and apparently didn't care about it. It took them 20 minutes to respond to the pages.

Sounds like she is complaining about the irresponsible and pathetic parents that this poor boy had to endure, not the child themselves.

I don't care if it's "legal" or not, I do sometimes wear socks with my Wal-Mart croc knock-offs. If I have jeans on and am wearing the "crocs" and my feet are cold? Heck yes, I'll put on socks. They are clean socks, and I couldn't care less about what anyone thinks about it. If they don't like it they don't have to look.

I have to say that my walmarts are very nice and clean. We mainly shop at wal mart but we do go to Target a lot too. I think it really depends on what you are looking for.

I don;t think it has anything to do with wal mart but the people that are the way they are. There will always be bad apples in every basket!

WM's seem to be hit or miss. I can vouch for the fact that there ARE some really nasty WM's in the world. The very first WM in the town I grew up in was such a one. The store was ALWAYS trashed, lines were horendous, surly employees and customers that were

But there are other WM's in my area that I've been to that are just fine. Not quite as nice as Target or even Meijers, but tolerable. I still don't like to shop there because their prices aren't that great and checkout lines are still really bad, but the condition of the store nor the clientel are what keep me away.

Plus they are so unqualified they can't even get a job at Walmart.

Pretty much always the qualify of a Walmart store directly correlates to the clientele at that store.

Actually I don;t know what their qualifications are but I tried to get a job there and they wouldn't hire me b/c they said I wasn't available enough. However I said I could work anytime whenever they needed me. HHMMMM?
