Does anyone know how far a Wal-Mart is from the WDW!

Depemding on where in WDW you leave from it was around 15-20 minutes the last time I went to one, search Walmart and print map quest before you go

I think the closest one and nicest one is on 535. Exit WDW property via 536 (Epcot Drive) take it until you intersect 535 (just past Nick Hotel) and make a right, it's about 10 minutes down the road on the right.

eta: this is a super Walmart and it's open 24 hrs.

walmart is just down 535 ,,apopka vineland road,,its about 8 to 10 minits from the crossroads mall just tirn right and keep going,,i love walmart great deals,,great store!!go there alll the time!!!

I can confirm tha the Walmart on 535 is the closest one to WDW, no matter which Resort you happen to stay at.

Ditto. It's the one I went to in April. Definitely worth the trip as it also has a big stash of Disney items. It took us about 15 minutes to get there from POP.

There is a brand new Super Wal-Mart located on Palm Parkway. If you turn left when facing the Crossroads onto CR535 and then right onto Palm Parkway (Olive Garden is on the corner), it is about a five minute drive to the new Wal-Mart. Is a very nice new store.

if you past the walmart on 535 you will hit us 192..just turn left and you will hit a super target and lots of other stores..and another walmart super center..but its the older one and noteasy to get out of..the super center on 535 is about the best its new..

You have two great Super Wal Marts close. I agree with Feralpeg. The new Wal Mart is quite nice and just as close to WDW as the one on 535.

I have no idea what the store number is, but if you take Palm Parkway and head toward Sand Lake, you can't miss it.

Walmart is about $20 away from Pop Century. We had to go to Walmart during our trip in 2006 because the shoes we brought with us were killing our feet. We had to buy new ones.

Is the new Walmart on Palm Pkwy on the left or right once you turn onto Palm Pkwy from 535? Is it after the stop sign? I remember taking this way to SW last summer from SSR (and couldn't believe how close it was taking that way, nor could I believe all of the "available" land they hadn't developed yet along the road there, but I guess I spoke to soon on that one! LOL)

We may be staying at SSR next month so it would be great to have a Walmart that close without having to back track toward Osceola and 535..last time we kinda got stuck shopping at Goodings, and yipes I could have bought twice as much stuff for the same price at Walmart!! It was just the matter of convenience because dd was cranky and tired so I went to the closest place. Walmart at 535 isn't' too far but the 5:30 pm traffic would have made it feel far!

It will be on the left side as you head toward Sandlake. It is beyond the stop sign. There is still a lot of undeveloped land there, but it won't be that way for long. Just beyond the new Wal-Mart, they are working on a new strip mall. It should be opening soon.

The traffic to the new Wal-Mart isn't bad at all most of the time. I find the traffic to bunch up sometimes at the intersection right by Olive Garden returning from Wal-Mart. It isn't bad.
