Ok, so I'm an obsessed mother... yes one of those...a scrapbooker! I have frantically planned our trip around photo ops and what to wear. I ran to Wal-Mart tonight to find something for her to wear when we do the My Princess Tea Party (I was thinking an aurora dress) and also for the Family Magic Tour.

I picked up a Tinkerbell Cosutme Dress and a Jasmine costume (only becuase it was the only other one that would fit my 5 year old) totally expecting to pay $20 a piece. Nope, they rang up on clearance at $5!!!

That is great!
Usually they are in the toy section at my Walmart and they are size 3-6 or something like that. I got the Tink dress for my neice when it went down to $11. But $5- that is great.

DD4 is invited to a Princess costume party next Sat. It would be nice to surprise her with a new dress. I hope my Walmart has these on sale too.

gotta love dress up dresses
gotta check that out for my little princess
hope there $5 at mine cause I notices they were $20 before
great find :cool1:

Does anyone know how Walmarts decide on when to reduce their prices? I saw the costumes in my WalMart last week for about $18 reduced from $20, but that was it - didn't check yet this week. When the new price goes in the computer does it work for all Walmarts? It would be worth a trip for me if I thought I'd get the costumes for $5.

Ours were 17.88. They were in the clearance toys though. LT

It depends on how many they have and how fast they decide to get rid of them- I know Tink and Belle were deleted but Snow, Cinderella and Aurora are active-

We had the tink go down to 11 but then they sent them back instead of keeping them

Went to WallyWorld today and our dresses were 17.88 , no Tink costumes either.. So we didn't get dresses but DD4 ended up talking me into letting her get her ears pierced..They are so pretty!!! :flower:

I just got back from Walmart and the dresses were 17.98 for Cinderella, Belle, and Snow White. Minnie ran up at 24.98 and Tink was 11.98. I bought Tink. I was able to get quite a few more stuffed Fisher Price characters for $1.00 (Minnie in a christmas outfit, Pooh, Donald, Ariel, Blue from Blues Clues and Mickey in a Tracksuit) they are not marked just in a big bin with other assorted stuffed animals.

I wish we had one close enough to run over to! I would love to get a few of the dresses! Well, next year we are suppose to be getting a Walmart near us.

I checked with the head of our toy department at our local WalMart. The dresses never went on clearnace here at all.
