I looked at the walmart ad that came in the mail the other day and they have the DVD recorded listed at $78.00. But in the commercials and on the online ad its listed at $68.00. I wonder which price they will be selling it at on Friday morning? :confused3

Last year I hit Walmart a couple of times through the day on Black Friday. They kept lower their prices on items to match the prices of other local stores. I think they sent spies out. :rotfl: I bet the lower prices is correct since the mailed advertisement had to go to the publisher & tthen in the mail. They probably lowered their price since then. :)

So funny you asked this.

Last night we got out Wal Mart ad - stating $398 for the laptop...but the commercials said $378 ... a twenty dollar difference. :earseek:

My 10 y/o (wanting the laptop more than life itself) got out the phone book, and called....

Apparently the print AD was made before the TV AD's and the price has since dropped on many items. :Pinkbounc

The newspaper ad says the HP E317 for $98.88 but online at most stores I checked it was on sale for $88. I printed it up and am taking it wih me so i get the $88 price tag.

If you look again you will see that it is $68 for the early bird and then $78 after that

It depends on where that particular store is located. I have a post on this on the budget board. I check 10 different Wal-Marts within driving distance. Two of them had the higher priced items, the other eight were cheaper.
These are all stores within 60 miles of each other.

It seems the stores in the more populated areas are the cheap ones. Additionally, some stores were offering 42" plasma TV's, and other stores didn't have them at all.

I would definately print out the online ad that says $68 and bring it in... they can't refuse their own ad can they? It's a great deal for $68, makes me wish I had an extra $68 to spend on a xmas present for myself!

I just had to open this thread to see what it was about. I thought you were talking about your Wal-Mart BF - as in boyfriend :teeth:.
