waking up tink

We are going to MK on and early morning - will Tinkerbells Treasures open at 8 since it's an early entry day or at 9 when it normallly does? Aslo we have PS for CRT at 8:05, so will we be able to get there by 9 or will someone already probably be there? My dd would love the do this but I'm not sure it will be possible. Thanks

We were VERY fortunate to be able to do this on our last visit. It was not an EE but I don't think the shops open until regular time anyway. I hope someone else will know for you! It only takes a few minuites so if it does open at 8, you will be fine getting to your PS. It is so cute, have that camera ready to go.

Our luck was that we had a 9:15 PS at CRT and were at the Castle rope at 9, standing on the left side where it unhooks. We went directly to the shop and there was not even a CM in there, she was in the back. My DD was the first one to ask but there was a long line of kids behind her so they all got to see Tink wake up. They gave us a certificate which they hand wrote "waking up Tinkerbell" It made me wonder if there are any other "magical" experiences that are little know.

Pkay, I've seen on the boards that this takes place but never really understood what it was. Now we are taking two 6 years olds so want to know more about it. Anybody got pictures? Explain what it is please!!!

She is sleeping in a wood box about 5 ft off the ground behing the cash register at the back of the store in front of a mural of a window. (Someone posted a photo of it on an old thread but I don't remember when and all I have is video)
The CM gives you a wand to tap the box and say" Wake up Tinkerbell" and then she wakes up.
Tink is VERY small so it is tough to "see her" what you do see is flashes of light on the walls and you hear her flying through the store. Then you can go look at her thru a keyhole sleeping in the drawer of a chest.

I saw that there is a duplicate thread running on this same subject with other reply's that Tink's does open at 8. So get to that rope and good luck!

We have tried to be there at rope drop but what time does it happen? We seem to always get there before the park supposely opens but never see any of the opening stuff?

My kids where the first ones there last Sept and something wasn't working and told my DD she was in Neverland at the moment.

This time we missed the opening stuff too and both days we were there early!?! I don't know if they are still doing the Characters on the Train Opening or not. Last year it was about 15-20 min before the park officially opened.

BUT The key is to be at the rope drop IN the Castle. We got in there because we had a PS. To get in the front gate early, we had to go to the far right turnstyles and tell the CM that we had a PS at a time before the park opens, i.e. 8:45 for a 9:00 opening. They did not ask for the PS number, just the time.
Ok, flame suit on, sorry but I fibbed a bit since our PS was 9:15 but I wanted to be able to get down Mainstreet with the stoller and a dawdling 3 yr old without getting caught in the crowd. I was not sure if I could manage it and didn't want to be late for CRT. There were alot of other people there at the Castle rope drop so I am sure there are many different ways to get in early.

Remember to check even after the rope drop - last June we had a early PS at CRT but we didn't finish up until 9:15. We decided to still check just in case and to our surprise no one had been by to Wake up Tink yet so DD got to wake up Tink and loved it!!
