We were just down a couple of weeks ago and we used the wake up call. Now, I love getting woken up by Mickey, I do not like being woken up by Stitch. How long have they had Stitch on and when will it go back to normal?

I could be wrong, but I think its random. I am sure Mickey is still on there, its just a matter of which one you happen to get. I too prefer Mickey!! :earsboy:

I remember my trip in 2002 was right around when Lilo and Stitch was released. They used the Stitch Wake up call then for the entire trip. It was scary. I wasn't expecting it the first time I picked up the phone. :scared1: I'll take Mickey any day! ::MickeyMo

Do you get a character wake-up call automatically or do you have to request it?

When we were there in Feb of this year it was Stitch and then at the end it was Mickey apoligizing for Stitch's behavoir. Im not 100% sure what stitch says as Im still asleep when I answer the phone. :confused3 Hopefully it will be diffrent when we go next

When we were there in May/June, it was Stitch and then Mickey busted in apologizing for Stitch. That's all we ever had. I personally don't care for Stitch. Go back to Mickey solo.

Yes. You use the resort phone to schedule a wake-up call and it is always a character. :)

Just got back yesterday from Disney. And that's exactly what we got, Mickey apologizing for Stitch's behavior and then at the end of Mickey, stitch said something. I have no idea what. Yes, just give me Mickey solo!! Or Goofy... or even Pluto! Let him bark!

My DD's are STILL using their "Stitch" voices to creep me out after hearing that message every morning on our May trip! Stitch just bothers me. I'm ready for Mickey to take over again!! :wave2:

We had that last week at AKL. UGH, how I hated it. Stitch would yell "No Sleeping!" in that horrible little voice of his. I missed the wake up calls from our first trip.

They've totally overdone the Stitch thing, IMO. Thankfully, we opted to not do the character wakeup call on our last visit, and I'll be sure to not use it this trip either! LOL

My family has only had Mickey Mouse calls, my youngest would love Stitch.

We were at Beach Club 7/13-20 and all we had was Stitch with the Mickey apology. The Mickey wake up always put a smile on my face first thing in the morning, but Stitch is just annoying. However, the recording at the end of placing my request for a wake up call said, "Thank you for using the wake up service and we hope you will have magical dreams!" which was so nice to hear each night.

Stitch woke us up during our recent fourth of July stay. He also woke us up for our Christmas 2004 stay. It sure would be nice if Mickey's back on the job for our next stay! ::MickeyMo

And we hated it. After day 2 we just picked up the phone and slammed it down. I simply do not understand how it has gone on so long.

What an awful way to start our day.........especially that wakeup at 3 am for the marathon :scared:

For all of those wondering what Stitch screams at the end, my DD7 (the Stitch lover :scared: ) translated it to say GET MOVIN'

Didn't like Stitch before our trip and I REALLY hate him now after getting that every morning for a week straight.

Last year after we got the Stitch call we stopped requesting the wake-up call. It was annoying!! I didn't like the Stitch show at MK either.

My kids are OBSESSED with Stitch, so I guess maybe we'll give the wake up call in August, but I'll just let the kids answer the phone LOL
