Waiver of Holding still in place for Cancellation day before arrival?

Just checking if the waiver of Holding still exists for cancellations with 30 days of arrival, with the exception of day of arrival, when there is forfeiture of points? I checked the website and it still speaks to holding for changes/cancellations made within 30 days of arrival?

When I canceled the other day it gave me the note that holding would be waived.

I called Friday to cancel a reservation starting August 4th and she informed me that Holding would be waived.

It is on the website when you go to cancel the trip. It says your points will not go into holding.

Does it give you the message BEFORE you cancel so that you are aware before you submit the cancellation?

Yes. It is right above where you confirm it. So, you definitely know it’s being waived before the actual cancellation happens.

I assume when it changes back so will that message.
