Waitlists and RCI

Can I trust the whole waitlist process to keep checking automatically and then e-mail me if something comes through or do I call to check etc.?

If you're talking RCI, I think you can trust it will work as intended (by RCI that is) and that if a unit comes up that you qualify for, you will get it once you're place in line is reached. If you're talking a DVC WL, I think your level of trust can be less but still reasonable.

I guess i'm more concerned with DVC checking for availability and letting me know via e-mail as they said they would.

I know when it's a DVC property I would breathe a little easier, but with RCI I just don't know...

Should I keep calling to check or just let it go and wait?

If you're on an RCI wait list for a possible exchange, there's no reason to call unless you need to make changes.
