Hi, I have booked a 1 bedroom at BWV for 5 nites in October but I am missing one nite in the middle of the stay. So I waitlisted that 1 nite. Should I also waitlist the entire stay?? :confused3 Thanks, Joan

What view (standard, pool/garden, Boardwalk) did you book? If it were me I would keep the wait list for the one night in the view you already have and then wait list the entire stay in another view category. The pool/garden view has the most rooms so that would be the most likely to come through.

You can also book that missing night for cash through Member Services. If the wait list comes through the cash reservation cancels out.

October is Food and Wine time at EPCOT so the likelihood of longer stay wait lists coming through is very low, but it never hurts to try. Good luck.

Hi, I booked the Pool/Garden view but I am not sure HOW the WAIT LIST works ?? If a WHOLE week becomes available do they give it to the first person looking for THAT week or would the week be broken up into DAYS and given to different wait listed individuals?? I guess it cannot hurt to wait list it BOTH ways?? I JUST had a wait list come thru that I put in for on Monday (came thru on Thursday) it was for 5 nites in a Studio near Hospitality House at OKW. I had booked on Monday (4/9) a studio at OKW. This reservation is for May 20-25th.:)

I would say stick with the one night waitlist approach - it's much easier and more frequent to get one night vs. the whole week. The other thing to think about is do you have enough points to waitlist a week if it came through while you still have your other days currently booked? If not, not a doable plan.

Just waitlist the one night and then waitlist the entire stay for another category or resort.

Supposedly the waitlist is set up with priority being given to the earliest to go on it. But, if nights free up and the waitlist at the top requires more nights then opened they go down the list until they reach the first person that could have their waitlist filled. Then if there are still nights available they'll continue down the list until they find the next person that they could fill the waitlist of. So you would gain nothing by waitlisting for more nights than you need.
