Waitlisting One Night to Replace Two Nights

Has anyone ever had success doing this? I ask because I almost always have success getting a one night waitlist but I have had this one going for three months unsuccessfully.

I have nights 1 and 3-6 in a BLT 1BR Theme Park View. I also have nights 1-2 in a BLT 1BR Lake View. So I put in the waitlist for night 2 in the Theme Park View and have it replacing the entire 2 night Lake view booking. I'm curious if this is an issue for the computer program doing the waitlists.

All the computer system is doing is looking for matching nights to your waitlist. A cast member will do the actual processing (cancel of existing / booking of waitlist) if the system finds a match.

Thank you, maybe what I'm asking for is too confusing for the cast member so they leave it.

If the request is too confusing for the cast member then I wouldn’t want them touching the reservation in the first place….

It should not cause any issues. If they have questions they would call before processing anything. I would not worry about it.

I have done it several times..one night waitlist to replace two nights booked.

Easy for them to do.
