Hi all,

We are hoping to go to GCV the weekend of Sep 18-21 in a 1 BR, but alas failed to get a reservation. We are currently waitlisted for the 3 nights. I have a back-up reservation using Marriott points at the Courtyard across the street, in case this doesn't come through.

My question is: is it better to keep a waitlist as a single reservation for all 3 nights, or would I stand a better chance if I waitlisted each individual night (9/19, 9/20, 9/21) in the hopes of snagging them as they become available?

Thanks!
Michelle

You can only have 2 waitlists per membership. How would you feelif the first and third nights came thru but not the second? For such a short stay, with no nights already secured, I would waitlist all 3 nights.

You are allowed two WL, so you could add the first night as a WL and keep the 3 night. if that fills, change to a 2 night. You may be able to also pick up the nights by stalking the website.

Knowing VGC and the timeframe (Halloween parties will have just started but not as crazy as October), I would try to waitlist two nights together and then one on its own.

Good luck! It’s one of our favorite 1-bedrooms at any DVC location.
