Waitlisting for OKW

We just decided on a trip to Disney 10/6-10/10 thanks to awesome flight rates with Southwest into Tampa. Problem is, we are now going during Epcot's F&WF, Columbus Day weekend, MNSSHP, etc...

I called MS this morning trying to book a Studio at OKW. They only have availability 10/6 and 10/7 (of course...these are Friday and Saturday nights), but have nothing available 10/8 and 10/9. For all you experts out there, what are the chances of a waitlist coming through for 10/8 and 10/9?

I'm already borrowing 2007 points for our trip down in a couple weeks, and I only have enough points left over from my 2007 UY for a studio at either OKW or BWV. I know BWV isn't going to be an option for these dates.

So, what do y'all think?

I'd probably go ahead and waitlist, but have a backup cash ressie at a non DVC resort that can be cancelled later.

call back and add BWV - I got a std view studio yesterday for my Sept trip - when a couple of weeks before MS had nothing....

so I would try!!!

Well, I've decided to go ahead and wait list the two dates I am missing at OKW (10/8 and 10/9). Wish me lots of luck it comes through!

go waitlist on both. we got OKW two studios for 11/26-12/3 we were only on wiat list for 6 days........leaving in 5 hours for SSR for 10 days at WDW. Happy, happpy,happy dance.........
