Waitlisting for 2 bed std. BWV. Any chance?

I have points rented out for early November - 4 nights in BWV, preferred one bdr. The family I rented to have asked if I would put them on a waitlist for the std. TWO bdr because the same amount of points are required.
I am doubtful that we would have any luck and I have told them this. It won't cost me a thing to waitlist but I don't want their hopes raised.

Anyone take a guess at how successful they would be - waitlisting at 8 months out for 2 bdr. standard BWV?

You might have a chance, since you got in before the 7 month window. But, just remember....SV rooms make up less than 10% of the resort. They are very hard to come by.

It's possible, but not probable, especially since you will most likely be waitlisting for the entire reservation to come through all at once. Doubt the people renting will want to risk have to move back and forth during their trip. If this is for "Jersey Week", my estimate is that they have only a very small chance (close to zero). I'm sure there are many on the waitlist ahead of where you would be.

But as you say, no harm in trying and there's always hope. I would tell them the chances are not in their favor. If it comes through, it will be a nice surprise. Good luck to them.
