We have decided to go to WDW from Oct 2 - 9, 2005 and rented a 2 bedroom @ OKW but would like to have been @ BWV.
We are on the waiting list for a 2 bedroom Standard view... what are our chances of getting it? :Pinkbounc

When did you go on the waitlist? Your dates are during a popular time for the EPCOT resorts due to the Food & Wine Festival. There are also some MNSSHP events during your stay.

Standard views book up very quickly at the BWV - many times efore the 7 month window opens. It is possible to get a standard view, but your chances are very small if you did not get on the waitlist at the 7 month window.

Also - how much of a risk taker are you (or the owner you are renting from, LOL)? If you waitlist for the whole stay to become available all at once, your chances are much less than if you waitlist for inidivdula days. Of course, if you waitlist by individual day, you run the risk of not getting all the days and having to move back and forth between resorts. Everyone's tolerance for this kind of "risk" is different. And if you are renting, you have to have an owner who is willing to do some extra work on your behalf.

Good luck -

P.S. The BWV location is awesome, but OKW is a wonderful resort with the largest rooms. You'd enjoy a stay there, too, so you realy can't go wrong.

I have a very good attitude about the waitlists since four out of four waitlists came through for me this last month. Granted, it was for our trip in May and not during the F & W festival, but I really didn't expect ALL of them to come through for me. I noticed that three of the four came at the 31 day mark... people seemed to be cancelling before they got penalized.

Good luck!
