Waitlisting 10/27-11/2?

Hi everyone! We just made ressies for our 1st OFFICIAL DVC Vacation - WLV 10/27-11/2 -

I put us on a waitlist for a 1BR at BWV - What do you think the chances are of us getting BW???

Does anyone know if WDW will have any fun things going on this week???

We go to WDW at only one of two times each year. Either the first two weeks of December...the decorations are up, the crowds are light, its not hot.

The other time is the end of October to early November. The weather is perfect, the crowds are light...and...best of all....THE EPCOT FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have never been during this, it will be a great treat.

I think your chances are excellent. WE have been waitlisted for this time of year and and it has come through, in fact we have been so lucky with the waitlist that it has always come through for us. ( Even at peak periods like Feb. Presidents week and Easter)
You will love BWV, and if you want to try the Food and Wine Festival, it's great because you can just walk there!

Hi! we'll be there same time! We have ressies at VWL (studio) from october 20-28th. But we're also on the waitlist for a studio at BWV!!!

the food and wine festival will be going on, and MNSSHP!!! also, Walt's 100th birthday celebration will have started (new parades!!!)

We'll be there too probably from 10/25 - 10/30. Would love to get a 1 Bdrm at BWV, but will probably have to settle for waitlist. I'm still trying to decide between VWL and OKW. I hope there's still some availability by the time I'm official! It seems like a great time to go!

We were at Disney last year for Halloween. We stayed at the BWV's they have a great halloween party for kids on Oct. 31 DJ, cookie decorating, trick or treating, other stuff..my kids had a blast. If your planning of doing Mickey's not so scary halloween party and have kids I would do it a night other than Oct 31 and spend the 31 at the Boardwalk. Dress up and trick or treat twice what more could a kid ask for...

Our bwv wait list for 10/30 in a 1 bedroom standard view just came through today! We will be there 10/30 - 11/4. It is a popular time of the year, but we've had excellent results with wait lists, I don't think we've ever had a request that didn't eventually come through. Good luck!

We are going down oct 28- nov 3. We were also on the wait list for BWV. When I got home from work last night there was a message from member services that a room became available. It took less than two weeks. I now believe in the magic. You should too.
