Waitlisted...now what

Hi all,

I tried to book our vacation for Sept 22 - Oct 7, 2 standard studio rooms at AKV - Kidani today. All days except Oct the 3rd were good to go. I have booked the entire stay and paid cash for the 3rd for the 2 rooms. I am shocked at the cost but didn't want to change rooms. They linked all 6 reservations (3 per room). We have waitlisted for the 3rd.

Has anyone paid cash for the room and had the waitlist come through? Does the cash room get cancelled? If only one room becomes available will they change one of the rooms so we only pay cash for the one night? If it stays a cash night will we not have to change rooms? Any tips that might be helpful?

If the reservations are linked, you will not have to change rooms.

We have paid cash and had a waitlist come through. When you get your reservation confirmation in the mail, just call Member Services to ensure they cancelled your cash ressie.

And, I because the reservations for each room are separate, so are your wait lists, so yes, if one becomes available, they will fill one of them.

I don't think that the cash rooms gets automatically cancelled. If you see you have gotten your wait list, I would definitely contact MS and double check to make sure that it is done.

Our waitlist already came through for both of our rooms. So very happy! Let the planning continue. Now to find price effective flights.
