Waitlisted for Oct 4-7 at BLT & BWV:Updated

Tried to switch our AKV studio over to either BLT or BWV for Oct. 4-7 and couldn't get all three nights at either. I choose to waitlist for the entire time instead of breaking the trip up. It is too short of a trip to waste time changing resorts. I won't be too bummed, if we don't get them, we just like to be close to Epcot for Wine & Food. I thought it would be fun to try BLT. Anybody want to speculate my chances????


Our waitlist came through just this afternoon!!! We were able to get BWV standard view for all three nights. My hubby is very happy, he wants to stagger back from Jelly Rolls and from Epcot. I really wanted to try BLT but it still will be a great trip.

I thought you could only waitlist for one resort?
Or is it you can WL at 2 but first one in is the one they will book for you?

You can only waitlist for two resorts, one view at each. Which ever opens up 1st you get.

your chances are probably pretty good - long enough away that cancellations will probably happen.

also there is some hope of BLT - because if DVD declares more inventory into DVC - you just might get it.

with BWV are you asking for a standard or prefered?

I waitlisted for standard at both locations. Send some pixie dust, we really would like to be close to epcot for the Food & Wine. This is our adult anniversary get away. My 1st choice would be BLT, so I like your encouragement that they may introduce more inventory. We stayed at BWV last year on our anniversary get away, so that would be ok too. We would really like to try BLT when we only need a studio, I would never use the points for a 2 bedroom when we travel as a family.

Great minds think alike. Yes, I was at AKV in Jan. with my sister for my birthday and my DH and I will be there Oct. 3-7 for food and wine. We just were able to switch our reservation over to BWV instead of AKV. We will be at AKV in Aug. with the whole family.

I am surprised also how fast it came through. It was the first time I have ever waitlisted and it wasn't that painful.
