Waitlist ?

If I want to make reservations tomorrow @ 7 month window and the property which is my first choice is not available, but something else is, and I decide to waitlist for the first choice property, do i have to have enough points available for both reservations?

Does that make sense?? or have I had too much Easter goodies??

What is the best method for waitlisting? We would not want to move mid vacation.

The only time I waitlisted for the entire vacation, I did it automatically. I didn't have enough for both kinds of accomodations. I had 2 SV studios and wanted a SV 2 bedroom. I asked for the waitlist to be automatic and I got confirmation when the 2 bedroom came through. This was for summer '04.

Pixie dust, perhaps you won't have to waitlist at all!

Thanks bobbi: I want a GV at OKW for 11-12 to 11-17. I'm hoping the time that I want will be after the "double whammy" time. I think f&w will be over then, at least it was last year. It may take a whole Easter basket full of pixie dust! We're willing to take a 2 bdrm and a 1 bdrm for just about anywhere else. I have enough pts for each kind of reservation but not enough for both.

I'll try first thing in the morning and see what happens.
