Waitlist success???

What has your success been with waitlisting? This would be my first time and I am a little nervous. There are currently rooms available for 3 of the 5 nights. Can I book those and waitlist the other 2? Also if you have had success which property(ies). Thank you for any help!

Book what is there and waitlist the other days unless you really won't go unless you are on one unit for those 5 days.

Long waitlists are far less likely than single day waitlists.

Followup question: Can I waitlist different properties for the same time period (same dates for say Poly and Saratoga?)

That's what I'm hoping. I've had a single day and a two day waitlist for months. Of course it's for Dec, so not holding my breath, but hoping.

You can put in 2 WL only. So one resort for two different days would be the limit. If the 2 missing days are consecutive, and you can put in the waitlist for those 2 days together, then you can choose a different resort or view.

But, in addition to the wait list, keep checking g the website, even a few different times a day. I have had a ,it of success lately getting what I want this way over my waitlist. Once I got what I needed I just canceled the waitlist.

Just yesterday, I was able to switch my LV studio to a SV studio st VGF because I kept checking. At 8 am only 3 of 4 nights were there, but by 11, I got them all! Of course this was for March 2020. Not sure of when you are looking but definitely keep checking along with wait list.
