Waitlist questions

I assume waitlists at 7 months are like any booking, where you should log on at 8am and submit WL to try and be at the front of the line of all 7 monthers.. correct?

Can MS modify a waitlist without losing your place in the waitlist line?
I submitted a waitlist for 3 nights 1st night being my 7 month mark, the 3rd night is currently available to book. If I book that in 2 days when my 7 month window opens can MS modify my original WL to 2 nights or does it have to be cancelled and resubmitted?

DEC UY Feb trip. I can use Dec 2024 points and borrow Dec 2025 points for this WL trip right?

You have to submit a new waitlist, but it doesn’t matter because waitlists are based on the exact match happening,

Two nights has a better chance of filling than three. We tend to think of it as one big list but it’s not.

For example, if you have a three night waitlist put in and then today, I put in a two night…and someone cancels just the two nights, I jump ahead of you because I got an exact match….and you did not.

And yes, you can use those points.
