Hi everyone!
Quick question about waitlists. If I waitlist 2 consecutive nights on one waitlist does that mean both nights have to become open in order for it to be filled?

Also. Is there a 2 waitlist allotment per contract?

yes both nights have to be available.

Waitlists are not contract based but membership based.

You can have 2 per membership number.

If you just have one Use Year you will just have one membership number thus 2 waitlists.
If you have multiple use years you will have multiply membership numbers and that is when you will have 2 x # of membership numbers for waitlists.

To clarify, its 2 waistlists per membership per UY...so, if you have trips that fall in different UYs of travel, you get more.

For example, I had a two waitlists in for a June trip was my Dec 2022 UY but also put in two waitlists for a Dec trip which is in my Dec 2023 UY.

Waitlist question, sorry if this has already been answered. We are planning a disney trip next year with family and are going to do a split stay (hopefully) with the second half being at a different resort then are home resort. Some of the resorts we are looking at are higher demand so I know there is a real chance of no availability at 7 months and needing to waitlist. Ideally we would like to book two studios for the group. I'm curious if there is a way to have a waitlist of more than one rm in the waitlist (i.e. grant the waitlist only if there are two studios available) or if we would have to waitlist a studio hope it was granted, enter a new waitlist and hope that was also granted. If so we will probably just book/waitlist a 2 bedroom to make sure we can get everyone at the same place. Anyone else run into this issue/tried this. Thanks.

There is no way for you to set up a waitlist to have both rooms change at the same time. While you can certainly use your two WL's to waitlist each of the rooms, if one room becomes available, they will not "hold it" in hopes a second one would....

You definitely would be better to do that 2 bedroom and call MS to set it up so that they cancel both studios if it fills. If you are hoping to split stay, then I would make your home resort booking into two reservations from the start so you can easily modify the part to the non home resort, without having to cancel out days, and hope they are still there if you can't get the other resort.

If you never end up getting what you want, then you can always ask MS to merge them back into one. We do this all the time because we split stay almost always.
