Waitlist Question

So I want to waitlist the Savannah View for Jambo (I have Kidani currently); however, it's not letting me as there are 2 nights currently available in the middle of those 5 days. Can I not waitlist all 5 if there are openings in the middle of that trip? I don't want to book the 2 nights because I'd have to borrow to do that.

Go to the calendar and choose the 5 nights again and it will allow you to waitlist.

The calendar defaults to the days still there when you search.

That's what I thought...So I'm searching for and then when I go to the specific date and choose the range for the room type I get an error. I know it's Disney Website so it's likely just an actual error and not being able to not do it.

I waitlisted 5 nights in November (week before Turkey Day) for a standard 1 bed at BLT and my waitlist came through within a week. I was not really expecting it to come through because of time of year and how hard it is to get standard rooms at BLT, but it did come through.

Waitlists do work but some are easier to get than others. They fill when others cancel, so it depends on when you want to go and where.

The longer the waitlist, the harder it is to match as it’s allot nothing. If some of the nights come in but not all, they don’t hold for you.

So, we put them in but also stalk the website and pick up days until I get what I want, and adjust the waitlist as needed.
