I have been an owner for 10 years but I have never had to use the waitlist before. I am on the waitlist for 3 nights at VGC in June. I am not terribly hopeful it will come through, but anything is possible. My questions are, they will only fill if all 3 nights become available correct? Can I have two separate lists, 1 for the first two nights and 1 for the 3rd night? If I could get the 3rd night I could stay the first two nights closer to Hollywood before we do DL.

Thanks!

AFAIK you can have two waitlists request in and they will only be filled if everything matches up perfectly to your request. I guess it is a computerized system that only fills in based on the parameters you provided. I guess you could make a waitlist request, then call into MS every couple of days to see if anything else is open.

I don't think you can have two wait lists for the same type villa (e.g. a 2BR) at the same resort. You have to WL for all three nights.

Here's what it says in the Home Resort Rules and Regulations.

3) All requests must represent the entire length of time desired in the requested accommodation type. Wait List requests must be for consecutive days of a stay and may not be submitted as multiple or “night-by- night” requests.

Thank you!

We have 2 waitlists for Easter night at the BCV - one for a dedicated 2BR and 1 for a lock-off 2BR. We have the other adjacent nights, just need Easter!

Good point. We have 2 waitlists at VGV for the same time period -- one for a dedicated 2BR and one for a lock-off 2BR. These qualify as two different types of accomodations so you are allowed to do it, just like you could have parallel waitlists for a 1BR and a studio. You simply can't have 2 waitlist requests for the exact same type of accomodation on the same dates. The two waitlists can't even overlap by one day.

It's a bummer, I wonder if I should just shorten it to the one night, and forget the other 2. I think the chance of getting 3 nights at once at VGC is almost impossible.

You could wait list the night you really want first and if that comes thru then wait list the additional nights....
