Waitlist Question

I'm not real familiar with the waitlist process. I recently waitlisted for a BLT Studio in Sept. Yesterday I looked at the member site and under my account it now shows my Wilderness Lodge date as a BLT Studio, but I didn't get any notification. Is that normal?

Not a big deal, just making sure what I see is the actual ressie and not the waitlist.

I've had the same experience, but it's always been followed up with a confirmation by mail.

I just got an e-mail about my wL a couple days ago. Then I called and the CM said they sent the e-mail the same day I got the WL.

you historically cannot see a waitlist, so that would have to be the actual reservation.

I've had a few wait lists come through and show up on the DVC member website as ressies. At least two of these were never communicated via email or follow up letter (perhaps because they were within 1-2 weeks of travel). I was just thankful they came through, and I could see them on the website! Enjoy your trip!

Just curious, what are your dates at BLT? I cancelled a studio at BLT for September a few days ago. It would be cool if you got it.

We have never been notified that our waitlist did or didn't come through. I always check on the member website to see if it did.

Could've been! I cancelled 9/15-9/19! I'll just tell myself that you got our room, cause that makes me less sad that we had to cancel. I hope you have a great time!

We have a 2br theme park view for 9/15-9/18 and are trying to downgrade to a 1br standard or lake view. I wish you had a 1br that you had cancelled!

Congrats on getting the waitlist! I have waitlisted 5 times or so and had it work out 2 or 3 times.

I had one waitlist to add an extra day at the beginning of my stay just show up on the website. I never got notice and would have been a no-show for that day, if I hadn't checked the website. This was a year or so ago, and I just assumed that it was a process glitch that would be sorted out over time.
