Waitlist? possible lost reservation

I searched and could not find an answer.

This is my first waitlist request, BWV 1br std Jan 13-18th. I know a long shot. I have requested this to replace another reservation if it comes through.

Is there a chance I could end up with no reservation when they cancel and rebook?

I suppose anything is possible, but I've been a DVC Member since the beginning and have had LOTS and lots of waitlists over the years, including those that replaced another rez when the w/l came through, and I have never once had the issue you describe, so as Minniesgal said, I wouldn't worry about it.
