Waitlist notifications?

When a waitlist comes through, do you get any kind of notification, or do you just need to check the DVCMember site regularly to find out if it's come through or not?

I have a very low likelihood of our waitlist for September coming through, so it would be nice to not be checking the site every morning.

Sometimes we get notifications, sometimes we don't. This is true of reservations, waitlists, emails from DVC and DVD.

Should is probably true but actuality is that it has only happened for us maybe 1 in 5 times a waitlist has filled.

We got an email, but it looked like all the other emails that just say welcome. Down towards the bottom it listed the accommodations, and I realized it was different, that it was actually the new place we wanted. It would be helpful if it said "your waitlist has come through, here are your new accommodations."

When our waitlist came through, I received 2 emails. The first looked like all the Welcome Home emails, except it was for the single night we waitlisted. It looked like a new reservation. The second email also said the same thing, except this reservation combined the first days with the waitlisted day into a single reservation.
So far 1 for 1 with being notified.

Same for us. The emails look exactly like the ones you get for a new reservation, except it's your wait listed option that's described at the end.

I've only had 2 waitlist requests come through so my sample size is small but I received an email for one and a phone call from MS for the other.

noticed on member site yesterday a WL came thru for us for Oct. No email notice received. I'm not complaining

My waitlist at VB came through yesterday! The email came to my junk mail even though I regularly get emails from DVC, so it must be a slightly different sending address. My inbox is set for exclusive.

I was very happy! It used holding points and was linked to the reservation I already had.
