waitlist notification - yes!!!

I definitely like the new system so far. Checked the DVC website this am and waitlist had not come through. Just got an email for my reservation - it was the one for the waitlist I had been hoping for. Guess there is no longer a need to be checking on the website as they must have sent that email as soon as the waitlist was filled.

Very nice. I hope I have the same luck for my December trip. We're almost at the 31 day mark, so I'm hoping that something opens up due to last minute cancellations at that time.

And I got my waitlist last week and did not get an email confirmation. I actually thought I would since that was suppose to be one of the perks of the upgrade. I know my email works because they send me all of their advertisements. OP, glad it worked out for you! For me, I just found myself checking on a daily basis.

Checked my email earlier and got a suprise! My waitlist came through!!!!! We now have 6 consecutive nights at AKLV savannah view!!!!I am shocked! I did not expect for it come through so I (we) are pretty excited!!!

I've had mixed results with getting the emails since the upgrade. I made two room reservations for May and received confirmation for one of the rooms. Then I decided to switch those rooms and asked for emails and did not receive any. I had to waitlist one of the May days and also did not receive an email for that one but was notified of a Dec waitlist filling by email.
