Waitlist for Duo Studio Standard View...any hope in January.

I just found out I have to use our airline tickets by August. I have enough points to make my trip to the world in September and possibly a trip to the land for the first time. The unfortunate thing is I have enough for 3 nights at Disneyland Hotel but there is no availability. I have owned DVC for quite some time and am considering putting myself on a waitlist for DUO-Studios standard view. Do I even have a shot at this or am I wasting my time? Thanks.

Well, Duo Studio Standard are the smallest amount of points. So equate it to Riviera Tower Studio or AKL Value Studio - could it happen, sure... but a lot less likely than Deluxe Studio Preferred.
