Hi,

I booked from 4 Dec - 17 Dec at SSR at the 11 month mark and at 7 months was able to change the last 6 nights to AKV but they didn't have the first 7 nights so we waitlisted them under a seperate reservation BUT... ... today I checked the member web site and it has changed from SSR to AKV for both reservations!!! so happy!

Does anyone know if I will be able to stay in the one room or if they will make me move? Both reservations are at Jambo (which is what I wanted) and in a studio. It would be great not having to move!

Hi ChristieK0310,
Congratulations on your waitlist coming through. It seems like a lot of members are getting their non-home resorts for December.

If you want to be sure you do not have to check out and check in to another room I would call MS and let them know to link the reservations. Even if they already have it set for you to be in one room it never hurts to make a quick phone call and check.

Have a great time and the beginning of December in my opinion is one of the best times to be at Disney. :thumbsup2

The reservations can only be linked if they are for the exact same thing. There are four separate booking categories for studios in Jambo - value, standard, savanna view and concierge.

If your reservations are for the same thing, then do as Jamie suggests - call MS and ask to have them linked. Once that is done, you will not have to move. As far as the resort is concerned, you have one continuouse DVC reservation. :)

If the reservations are for two different classifications, call MS and ask to waitlist either the 1st 6 nights (to match the lst 7) or waitlist the last 7 nights (to match the first 6). Don't do both since Murphy's Law would have them both come through and then's you'd still have the problem.

Good luck and hope that made sense.

Congratulations :cool1:

Lucky duck. We are STILL on the waitlist for a 1bdrm Villa for the AKVillas for 12/6-11 and still nothing. :sad1:

Hopefully one of these days our waitlist will come through ;).
