Waitlist for BWV or BCV?

We have to change vacation dates due to school snow days. Anyone guess at the likelihood of getting in at one of these two 3rd wk in June??? I'm a little nervous

I posted this under misc, too, but am nervous about moving our dates in 3rd week in June. How hard is it to get into either of these this far out?

I'd guess that you'd have better luck at the BW since there are more rooms.

I don't really know how much luck you will have the third week of June, but I think the waitlist would be worth a shot. I'm guessing BWV would be more likely since it is a bigger resort and Storm Along Bay at BCV is probably really popular in the summer.

Will you book SSR or OKW, then waitlist the other?

Right now we are booked at BWV another week, but due to snow days, this might be a problem.

I haven't tried at that time of year, but I've stayed at BWV several times only because I couldn't get in at BCV. However, BCV has never been available for me when BWV hasn't.

I tried to add on a day to my BCV studio, adding on June 16th wasn't available.

We just had a waitlist for June 4 go through and we booked Jan 21. We only waitlisted 1 day and waited to book the weekend as it was available.

I think there does need to be a bit of strategy involved as the new waitlist process makes it trickier - if not all of your days come through on waitlist you get nothing. Consider a split stay and just waitlist 1,2 or 3 days as it may be likely to get a smaller group of days..or do a weekend and suck it up for the points!

Is it easier to get a 1 bdrm or studio at BCV?
