Waitlist entire stay or one night?

I just reserved at 7 months at a non-home resort. I couldn't get the last night that I wanted, so I reserved that night at my home resort. If I do a waitlist so I don't have to swtich resorts, is it better to waitlist just that night at the non-home resort when the 7-month window opens or to waitlist the entire stay at the non-home resort?

I'd do just the one night. The odds of a single night coming through starting at 7 months out is very high for most anything with a few exceptions. If you don't have plans for your second WL spot, you could WL an entire stay for another view or resort if you wanted.
